
Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a project to build one of the world’s tallest television towers in Hanoi.
The government’s office has just announced Prime Minister Dung’s approval of a project to build the Vietnam Television Tower, Vietnamplus reported.
The tower is expected to be among the world’s tallest.
To be partly owned by Vietnam Television (VTV), the national television station, the tower will be erected on a 14-hectare plot within the Tay Ho Tay residential area, which spans three communes in Tay Ho, Cau Giay and Tu Liem Districts.
