The 40,000-square-meter site in An Khanh Ward will house a nine-story building with a basement and ground floor, offering over 38,000 square meters of usable floor space.
The center is expected to provide educational, recreational and cultural facilities for children across the city.

Renderings show the design of the Ho Chi Minh City Children’s Center to be built in the Thu Thiem urban area.
The main building will include four auditoriums, a multipurpose hall, six cinemas with seating capacities ranging from 127 to 175, and classrooms for arts, martial arts, and physical training.
Additional facilities will include a swimming pool, outdoor playgrounds, and green spaces designed for environmental education.
An outdoor stage with seating for over 1,300 will host large-scale events, while landscaped areas will feature a small park and a plaza featuring water installations.
