Ho Chi Minh City commune to use surveillance footage to target illegal dumping

Residents reported that household waste and damaged items have been dumped in large quantities at the bridge's foot and along the street, mostly at night.

The Binh Hung People's Committee said it will coordinate with waste collection units to remove the accumulated trash and will review surveillance camera footage to catch offenders.

The commune has also established a task force to patrol the area and enforce environmental regulations. 

Officials added that residents who report violations may receive rewards.
