The destruction council included representatives from the municipal Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, the municipal People’s Procuracy, the criminal judgment enforcement and judicial assistance police division and the drug crime investigation police division under the Ho Chi Minh City Police, the Department of Health, and the Department of Finance.
At around 8:00 am, authorities inspected and loaded the narcotics onto specialized vehicles for transport to a destruction site in Binh Chanh District.

Throughout the process, the destruction council supervised and verified that the narcotics were completely incinerated to ashes and rendered unusable.
A final inspection was conducted before the council signed the destruction report and held a debriefing to conclude the procedure.
