Authorities in Ho Chi Minh City are investigating the cause of a traffic accident between a traffic police motorcycle and two other motorbikes that severely injured two residents in Thu Duc City on Firday night.
The traffic police motorcycle belongs to a traffic police team under the public security division of Thu Duc City, according to a source.
Travelers heard a loud bang from the collision between the three said vehicles on Man Thien Street in the city’s Hiep Phu Ward at around 9:15 pm on Friday.
Two residents who rode the two personal motorbikes were severely injured after the crash and were rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
One of them is in a critical condition.
The traffic police motorcycle rider had slight injuries.
All three vehicles were damaged.
Police investigation is underway.
