At 10:00 am on Sunday, police officers received a report from Palvinder Singh Talwar, a 28-year-old Indian, stating he had left his phone in a taxi while traveling from Bui Vien Walking Street in Ben Thanh Ward to his hotel on Tran Binh Trong Street in Cho Quan Ward at around 2:30 am the same day.
Officers quickly reviewed footage from surveillance cameras, identified the taxi involved, and contacted the driver.
Thanks to their prompt response, Talwar’s phone was located and returned to him shortly thereafter.
In a separate incident, at 8:00 am on Monday, Nguyen Van Chinh, a 46-year-old resident of Binh Hung Ward, reported losing a handbag containing a laptop and personal documents.
He left the bag behind after withdrawing money from an ATM on An Duong Vuong Street in Cho Quan Ward on June 29.

The ward’s police launched an investigation, reviewing security camera footage from the area.
They discovered that a young man had picked up the forgotten bag after using the same ATM.
As such, police made contact with the man, who voluntarily returned the handbag along with the laptop and all accompanying documents.
The recovered items were then returned to Chinh.
