Residents advised to use personal vehicles on Reunification Day
A series of ceremonial activities will take place along Le Duan Boulevard and in front of the Reunification Palace in downtown Ho Chi Minh City to mark the 50th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and Reunification Day (April 30).
The official ceremony will start at 6:30 am on April 30, featuring a military parade and a large-scale march beginning at Nguyen Binh Khiem Intersection and proceeding past the main stage positioned in front of the Reunification Hall.
After the formal procession, participants will disperse along four prearranged routes.
The public can watch the event via dozens of LED screens installed across the city or through television and online broadcasts.
Residents are encouraged not to use personal vehicles on that day due to limited parking capacity, especially near the parade and celebration areas.
