The fest will feature over 200 booths at Binh Phu Park in Binh Phu Ward, and is expected to attract around 150,000 visitors.
This year’s festival builds on the success of the 2023 edition, with expanded scale and numerous community activities, said Nguyen Tan Viet, president of the association and head of the organizing board.
Covering more than seven hectares, the festival grounds will be divided into thematic zones, including Green & Creative Cuisine, OCO - Organic - Macrobiotic & Recycled Products, Exhibition of Vietnamese Vegetarian Ingredients, and Forum on Green Tourism, Green Cuisine, and Green Economy.
Additionally, the festival will host a range of talks, workshops, art performances, and artistic vegetarian cooking demonstrations.
A key highlight of the event will be the ‘Zero-Waste Green Festival’ initiative, featuring such activities as Food Waste Recycling Day, Kitchen of Love – 1,000 Free Meals, and various charity programs.
Nguyen Thi Hang, vice-chairwoman of the Binh Phu Ward People's Committee, emphasized that the festival will offer an opportunity to residents and tourists to enjoy vegetarian cuisine in a green space, while promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle and a spirit of sharing.
