Ho Chi Minh City to treat locals, visitors to stunning weaponry, martial arts performances in early June

The Ministry of Public Security announced on Wednesday that the three-day event will include exhibitions, live demonstrations, and a grand musical gala celebrating the strength of Vietnam’s security forces.

It will be held along Le Loi Street and Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in downtown Ho Chi Minh City.

This event commemorates the 77th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation, and also looks forward to the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the All People’s Security Safeguard Festival.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore an interactive technology exhibition that blends digital innovations with historical artifacts.

This exhibition reflects the heroic victories of the People’s Public Security forces throughout different eras.

A wide variety of modern weaponry and specialized equipment will be showcased, highlighting the forces’ growing capabilities in safeguarding national security.

The program will also feature interactive zones focused on fire and rescue, anti-drug operations, cybersecurity, and traffic police.

One of the key attractions will be the display of cutting-edge special-purpose vehicles.

Throughout the event, audiences can enjoy live performances such as motorcade formations, police dog demonstrations, martial arts displays, and musical band performances.

The event will conclude on the night of June 8 with a large-scale music gala featuring a lineup of popular Vietnamese stars.

Organizers noted that the Ho Chi Minh City edition will offer significant additions compared to the version held in Hanoi on March 8 and 9 near Hoan Kiem Lake.

Besides a larger number of exhibits and more live interactions, the event will include multi-sensory exhibits, artistic light displays, and LiveLED photo experiences.
