A representative of the museum told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the online ticketing platform officially went into operation on Tuesday.
The move aims to diversify service options and better meet the needs of both domestic and international visitors.
Through the museum’s official website baotangchungtichchientranh.vn, visitors can now purchase tickets using various payment methods, including cash, bank transfers, and online payment platforms.
The new e-ticketing system also allows guests to proactively select their preferred visiting time, said the representative.
After completing their transaction, visitors will receive a QR code via email, which can be scanned at the entrance gate.
This process removes the need to queue at the ticket counter, particularly during peak hours.
“The change is expected to ease congestion during busy periods while modernizing management procedures and delivering a more professional, seamless experience for visitors,” according to the museum representative.

Aside from ticketing, the system provides quick access to updated information about thematic exhibitions, visitor maps and important regulations, enabling guests to better prepare for their visit.
Until now, the War Remnants Museum has been the only museum in Ho Chi Minh City to implement such a system.
Beyond its permanent exhibition themes, including Vietnam: War and Peace, War Crimes of Aggression, Agent Orange Aftermath, and The Prison Regime During the War of Aggression in Vietnam, the museum is currently hosting two special exhibitions.
‘Youth on the Legendary 1C Route’ will run through May, while ‘Nguyen Thi Binh - Intelligence, Courage and the Dignity of Vietnamese Women in the Ho Chi Minh Era’ is on display until April 30.
