Hoa Phat inaugurates $98.7mn steel pipe plant in Vietnam’s Tay Ninh Province

The Hoa Phat Long An plant is located in the Thuan Dao Expanded Industrial Park in Long Cang Commune and covers 15 hectares.

The facility has an annual capacity of 460,000 tonnes and is expected to employ nearly 800 workers, Hoa Phat chairman Tran Dinh Long said at the ceremony.

The Thuan Dao Expanded Industrial Park, developed by Dong Tam Industrial Park JSC, has attracted 57 secondary investment projects, including 27 foreign-invested and 30 domestic projects, creating nearly 10,000 jobs, Le Van Han, chairman of the provincial People's Committee, said.

According to Han, the new plant's operation will support the construction materials supply chain and contribute to local industrial development, employment, and budget revenues.
