On Monday, the Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, together with Anex Vietnam Travel and Trading Company Limited and other units, welcomed the Indian famtrip group at Cam Ranh International Airport.

The famtrip, jointly organized by Anex Vietnam, its Turkish partner Inventum Global, and Vietnam’s budget air carrier Vietjet, is intended to promote Khanh Hoa as a premier destination for luxury Indian weddings.

The delegation consists of 42 members, including 20 leading wedding planners from India, along with representatives from Vietjet’s India office and Inventum Global, according to Khanh Hoa Online.

During their stay, the group will visit several five-star resorts such as Ana Mandara Cam Ranh, Selectum Noa Resort Cam Ranh, JW Marriott Cam Ranh Resort & Spa, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Lalyana, and Vinpearl Nha Trang.

The delegation will also meet with local tourism and hospitality businesses to discuss potential partnerships in organizing wedding ceremonies and high-end tour packages tailored to Indian guests.

According to the Khanh Hoa administration, the visit is expected to strengthen the province’s image as a luxury international wedding destination while offering business opportunities to local enterprises.

India, with a population of over 1.4 billion, represents a promising source market for Vietnam’s tourism sector.

The country’s booming wedding industry is forecast to host around 4.8 million weddings during the 2024–25 season, generating an estimated revenue of US$68 billion.

With its pristine beaches and world-class resorts, Khanh Hoa has emerged as an attractive choice for Indian high-end wedding tourism.

In recent years, the province has intensified promotional activities targeting the Indian market through trade conferences, cultural festivals, and tourism seminars.

In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed approximately 7,100 Indian visitors, and in the first eight months of 2025, the figure reached about 5,400, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
