Ho Chi Minh City was selected as the site of IPTPA's representative office in Vietnam, as it is seen as a key hub for the sport's growth in the country, according to the association.

The organization will collaborate with local partners in the city and across the country to accelerate the sport's nationwide development.

Future plans include the establishment of a pickleball training center, complete with indoor courts, a central competition venue, classrooms, and a professional coaching team.

Combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports globally.

Known for its accessibility and community spirit, pickleball attracts players of all ages and skill levels—qualities that are increasingly resonating with sports enthusiasts in Vietnam, where unofficial estimates suggest some 30,000 people are now playing the game.
