Located in Long An Ward, the new AEON mall has a total investment of more than VND1 trillion (US$38 million) and serves as part of a series of key projects celebrating the first Tay Ninh Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-30 term.

The opening ceremony was attended by Tay Ninh leaders, representatives from the business community, local residents, Ho Chi Minh City Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc, and Japanese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Ono Masuo.

Built in the heart of the province’s administrative and urban center, AEON Tan An is designed as a modern complex integrating shopping, dining, entertainment, and community facilities, offering residents and visitors a vibrant new leisure destination.

Since its soft opening on September 23, the mall has attracted thousands of daily visitors for shopping and entertainment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Van Ut, chairman of the provincial administration, expressed gratitude to AEON Vietnam for choosing the province as its investment destination.

“The opening of AEON Tan An not only reaffirms Tay Ninh’s safe and attractive investment environment but also represents a symbol of integration and growth, elevating the province’s standing on the regional and national economic map.

“We are committed to continuing our close cooperation with investors,” he said.

Ut also extended special thanks to Ho Chi Minh City Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc, who, during his previous tenure as secretary of the Party Committee of former Long An Province, had given strong support to accelerate the project’s completion.

The former Long An Province is now part of the expanded Tay Ninh Province, following a major administrative restructuring effective from July 1, in which 63 Vietnamese provinces and cities were reduced to 34.

Japanese Consul General Ono Masuo expressed his belief that AEON Tan An would soon become a popular entertainment and shopping hub for local residents, contributing to Tay Ninh’s prosperity and livability.
