The River Festival in Ho Chi Minh City concluded its second edition with a myriad of spectacular performances featuring water motorbikes, jet boards, flyboards, sailing boats, and a stunning display of 1,100 drones, drawing huge crowds to both banks of the Saigon River on Sunday evening to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Many hours before these performances began at 7:30 pm, locals and visitors thronged the roads leading to Bach Dang Wharf Park and Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in District 1 to find perfect spots to watch the shows.
With the theme ‘Ho Chi Minh City - The Sparkling River Sings,’ 1,100 light drones illuminated the city’s night sky by creating various incredible figures, which conveyed a message about a dynamic, modern, and festive city.
Visitors also experienced the vibrant vibes of the festival by watching fun-filled water sports activities and a boat parade on the Saigon River.
