South Korean entertainment outlet My Daily reported that the production team is finalizing plans for a group vacation to Da Nang, a popular beach destination that has become a go-to retreat spot for K-drama casts in recent years.
The trip marks a tradition in South Korean television where cast members are rewarded with a group holiday if a series performs exceptionally well.
During a recent wrap party, lead actress YoonA reportedly confirmed the plans, calling the show’s performance a major win.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty follows Yeon Ji Yeong, a modern French cuisine chef who is transported back in time to the Joseon era (1392–1897), where she ends up in the royal court of King Yi Heon.
The drama ended its run on Sunday with a South Korea-wide rating of 17.1 percent, making it the highest-rated drama of the year on pay television network tvN.
It also reached the top spot on Netflix’s global non-English TV chart, drawing over 100 million viewing hours in under a month.

Vietnam, a rising destination for K-drama retreats
Da Nang and Nha Trang beach in south-central Khanh Hoa Province have seen a growing number of post-shoot vacations by South Korean stars.
In March 2024, the cast of Marry My Husband visited Nha Trang, while actors from Doctor Cha held a group holiday in the area in 2023.
Da Nang’s blend of luxury resorts, street food culture, and proximity to heritage sites like Hoi An has made it increasingly attractive to South Korean tourists — including celebrities.
