The former outstanding goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel of Manchester United FC will arrive in Vietnam on April 24 on a business tour at the invitation of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
In Hanoi, he will witness a signing ceremony for cooperation between BIDV and Manchester United regarding the issue of bronze BIDV-Manchester United cards on the first day and have an exchange with M. United fans on the following day.
The goalie said before the visit that he is happy to attend the event in Vietnam and the cooperation will be a special gift to fans.
The activities of Peter Schmeichel will be continuously updated on the Facebook page “BIDV-MU legendary connection.”
On the night of April 25, BIDV will hold an auction of gifts for MU players, including an MU jersey and a ball each with the signatures of 11 players, a pair of gloves with the signature of former goalie Peter Schmeichel, and a pair of shoes with the signature of Rio Ferdinand.
All the proceeds will be donated to the Hieu Ve Trai Tim (Understanding One's Heart) Foundation.
Peter Schmeichel is one of the most successful goalkeepers in the history of Manchester United FC and in the world. In almost a decade of playing for the team, he earned many achievements, including five Premier League championship titles, three FA Cup titles, and a Champions League trophy.
He helped form a golden generation at MU along with Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Roy Keane, and Paul Scholes.
