A representative from the An Giang Department of Tourism confirmed on Sunday that the celebration was held at the Vinpearl Phu Quoc complex throughout the week.
The event is considered the largest Indian wedding ever hosted on the island, not only in terms of budget but also for its comprehensive ‘destination design,’ which featured exclusive use of a five-star resort, private beaches, a convention center, and outdoor swimming pools.
The festivities extended to the VinWonders Phu Quoc entertainment plaza and a premium coastal area.
The wedding took place across five distinct spaces, each with its own decoration concept, developed and executed independently, at an estimated cost of more than US$2 million for setup and decoration alone.
Throughout the seven-day celebration, the spaces were continuously transformed to host formal ceremonies, themed outdoor parties, artistic performances, and intimate gala dinners, providing almost complete personalization for guests.

Experts describe the event as the ultimate example of a ‘destination wedding,’ in which an entire location is dedicated to a single family and operated to meet global elite standards.
Guests arrived on four round-trip charter flights and eight private jets reserved for the family and VIPs, including high-ranking officials and fellow billionaires.
Around 40 top-tier performers were invited to deliver private shows.
The wedding took place during the peak end-of-year tourism season, a period often marked by severe staff shortages in the service sector, yet organizers mobilized all available personnel to ensure flawless execution.
The An Giang Department of Tourism noted that Phu Quoc Special Zone continues to attract international visitors, including many Indian billionaire couples drawn to its romantic ambiance and scenic coastal and forest landscapes.
In 2025, the island is expected to welcome more than 147,000 tourists from India for leisure and travel.
