Police in the central Vietnamese of Quang Nam have investigated a case where a local man was found dead while being tied to a tree on Friday.
Local people who got up early for morning exercise in Thanh Ha Ward, Hoi An City discovered N.V.T., a 43-year-old local man, already dead in the posture of being tied to a tree in front of a house at around 5:20 am.
T. had been suffering from mental illness for a long time and often responded violently to his family members, according to the locals.
Upon receiving the report on the incident, police examined the scene, carried out an autopsy, and took testimony from the people involved.
An investigation is still underway to find out the cause of T.'s death.
