Midfielder Hoang Duc, striker Bich Thuy win Vietnam Golden Ball awards

Hoang Duc, who plays for Ninh Binh FC, claimed the men's Golden Ball for the third time in his career, beating finalists Nguyen Dinh Bac and Nguyen Quang Hai. 

Dinh Bac received the Silver Ball, while Quang Hai took the Bronze Ball.

In the women's category, striker Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy of Thai Nguyen T&T won the Golden Ball after a year in which she played a key role for both the club and country. 

Pham Hai Yen finished second and Tran Thi Thuy Trang third.

The Golden Ball for futsal went to Chau Doan Phat, with Tu Minh Quang and Nguyen Da Hai finishing second and third, respectively.

The awards ceremony, organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) newspaper, was held at Ben Thanh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City and attended by football officials and former national team players.

Hoang Duc also won the fan-voted award for Most Popular Player, while Dinh Bac was named Men's Young Player of the Year. 

Luu Hoang Van of Phong Phu Ha Nam won the women's young player award.

Brazilian-born Alan Sebastiao of Cong An Ha Noi was named Best Foreign Player, and veteran midfielder Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung received the Contribution Award in women's football.

The Vietnam Golden Ball, sponsored by the Vietnam Football Federation and modeled on France Football magazine's Ballon d'Or, has been awarded annually since 1995 to recognize players across multiple categories.
