American former professional boxer Mike Tyson and three Chinese-speaking celebrities are in Vietnam for a new film project with Hong Kong director Chun Chun Wong.
The 50-year-old heavyweight boxer, and the Chinese actresses, Ning Chang, Ivy Chen, and Fiona Sit, arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday.
All shots of Girls 2 will be taken in Vietnam, Vietnamese actor Tran Bao Son, actor and co-producer of the film, said.
Girls 2, the sequel of the first installment in 2014, is a psychology-comedy drama about the story of love and hate.
The movie is expected to be released in Hong Kong and some other Asian countries this Christmas before hitting Vietnamese screens.
Chun Chun Wong is an actress, writer, and director of several movies including Women’s Private Parts, The Runaway Pistol, Truth or Dare: 6th Floor Rear Flat, and Protégé de la Rose Noire.
She has also won a number of awards with Breakup Cluband Girls.
Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at the age of 20. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011.
Tyson has appeared in several movies such as The Hangover, Scary Movie 5 and Ip Man 3.
