Vietnamese Truong Nam Thanh finished at Top 10 as well as won the "Mr Fashion & Style Challenge" title at the 2012 Mr. World concluded in Kent County Showground, Kent, England over the last weekend.
Colombia’s representative Francisco Javier Escobar Parra was crowned while Philippines’ Andrew James Penaflorida Wolff and Ireland’s Leo Delaney received the first and second runner-up title, respectively.
Thanh is in his final year at the HCMC College of Dramatic Arts. In 2010, he participated in the Vietnam Supermodel Contest, winning the Best Body prize and making it to the top 10.
He also won the “Model Star 2011” held by PL Modeling Agency in HCMC.
Last October, Thanh attended and won the third runner-up title at the Manhunt International modeling contest held in Seoul, South Korea.
First held in 1996, Mr. World aims to “search for the world’s most desirable man.” This year, it attracted around 54 contestants from all over the world.
