Medical care, emergency response, and treatment were promptly and comprehensively deployed by forces from the Ministry of Health, the Hanoi Department of Health, the Department of Military Medicine under the Ministry of National Defense, and the Health Department under the Ministry of Public Security.
Medical units under the Hanoi Department of Health handled 213 cases, 19 of which were classified as serious and transferred for specialized treatment.
Military medical teams treated 95 cases, with 14 requiring hospital transfers. Among these, one police officer received treatment and returned to duty, while the remaining 94 were civilians.
Of the transferred cases, one patient was admitted to Military Hospital 354, and 13 to Xanh Pon General Hospital.
The health units under the Ministry of Public Security managed 142 cases, including 10 police officers, 130 civilians, and two foreign nationals. Four serious cases were transferred to Hanoi Heart Hospital.
Bach Mai Hospital treated 10 cases, with three serious patients transferred to the A9 Emergency Center.
Viet Duc University Hospital handled 15 cases, none of which required transfers. The patients included one parade participant, one military veteran, and 13 civilians.
E Hospital received nine cases, with no serious conditions reported.
Major hospitals under the Ministry of Health and the Hanoi Department of Health, such as Bach Mai, Viet Duc, Hanoi Heart Hospital, and Xanh Pon, promptly received patients and ensured the safety of officers, soldiers, and civilians participating in or observing the rehearsal.
The medical operations during the parade rehearsal reflected proactive planning, a strong sense of responsibility, and smooth coordination among all units, contributing significantly to the overall success of this important political and social event.
Previously, to ensure medical preparedness for the event, the Ministry of Health issued a comprehensive plan covering all aspects of healthcare, including food safety, epidemic prevention, potential emergency scenarios, and disaster response.
The ministry also mobilized experts and medical staff from leading hospitals such as Bach Mai, Viet Duc, Huu Nghi, and E to participate in the event’s healthcare efforts.
To support the event, the Hanoi Department of Health assigned specific tasks and directed hospitals, medical facilities, Hanoi Center for Disease Control, and affiliated units to mobilize 370 medical personnel and establish 94 medical task forces, including 51 mobile units, 37 ambulance teams, three food safety teams, and three epidemic control teams.
Each hospital was required to prepare five to 10 beds for emergency admissions and deploy one emergency response team with an ambulance on standby.
