Inspired by modern hop-on hop-off tours around the world, Ho Chi Minh City-based Viet Bigbus Company on Tuesday launched its new service, Saigon Heritage Tour, designed to give both locals and visitors a fresh way to experience the city from a different perspective.
The Saigon Heritage Tour will follow the Saigon–Tan Dinh route, featuring a total of 14 stops.
The journey will take passengers past not only iconic landmarks such as Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, Saigon Opera House, Independence Palace, and Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon but also through local streets leading to lesser-known destinations including Tan Dinh Market, Tan Dinh Church, Bach Dang Wharf, Ba Son Bridge, Saigon Bridge, Le Van Duyet Tomb, and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Multilingual audio guides provide information about the attractions in various languages, helping tourists better understand the city’s landmarks and history.
Tours are available both during the day and at night, with day tours running from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and night tours operating from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Day tour schedules vary, offering options such as a one-round Heritage Discovery Loop lasting one hour and 30 minutes, a four-hour hop-on hop-off city tour, and a 24-hour ticket that allows unlimited rides.
Prices range from VND145,000 to VND450,000 for adults and VND105,000 to VND360,000 for children.
Night tours feature a 45-minute Saigon Night Tour and an optional Combo Night Tour and Dinner Cruise, with prices ranging from VND145,000 to VND690,000 per adult and VND100,000 to VND590,000 per child.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Nguyen Thu Hoa, director of Viet Bigbus, said her company aims to join Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism sector in building the image of a smart tourism city for the 2026–30 period, serving as a 'cultural bridge' that helps residents and visitors share their love for the city and honor Vietnam’s cultural heritage.
Nguyen Quoc Vinh, deputy head of the transport management division under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, said this is the fifth open-top double-decker bus route in the city.
“We hope the launch of this Saigon–Tan Dinh route will add an appealing tourism product and contribute to the growth of urban tourism,” he said.
Vinh also encouraged the operator to further expand its routes to neighboring areas in Ho Chi Minh City such as Binh Duong and Ba Ria–Vung Tau.
