After Hanne Helene Su, currently staying at a hotel on Ly Thai To Street in the ward, discovered the wallet while traveling along the pass, she promptly brought the wallet to the local police station.

She asked officers to help track down the rightful owner.

Upon inspection, officers found that the wallet contained an amount of cash and several personal documents.

Through the identification papers inside, officers quickly determined that the owner is Phan Chi Trung, a resident of Van Thang Commune in the province.

All items were returned intact to Trung on Saturday.

Deeply moved upon receiving his belongings, Trung expressed his sincere gratitude to Su and the officers of the Bac Nha Trang Ward for their swift assistance.

Local police praised the Norwegian visitor’s integrity and used the occasion to encourage residents and tourists alike to uphold the spirit of honesty, returning lost property and promptly notifying authorities when finding misplaced belongings.
