Volunteers, including students, youth union members, local residents, and tourists, spread along the beach early in the morning to collect trash despite heavy rain.
Plastic bags, bottles, and cans were sorted and transported for proper treatment.
Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, a student at the University of Science and Education under the University of Da Nang, said she joined the campaign to help clean her hometown’s beach and remind herself to maintain a green lifestyle every day.

According to the management board, the activity was not only about cleaning the beach but also about encouraging the community to reduce single-use plastic and adopt eco-friendly habits.
“We want this campaign to spread a sense of responsibility among both locals and visitors, keeping Da Nang’s beaches green, clean, beautiful, safe, and welcoming,” a representative from the management board said.
