Passers-by help lift bus to rescue woman trapped underneath in Hanoi

The bus was traveling along Nguyen Van Cu Street toward Chuong Duong Bridge at around 6:50 am on Monday when it collided with a motorcycle ridden by a woman at the Nguyen Son-Nguyen Van Cu intersection in Bo De Ward.

The collision left the woman stuck beneath the bus and injured.

Local police and traffic officers responded to the scene, where they joined hands with nearly 20 residents to lift the bus and pull the victim out.

By around 7:20 am, the scene had been cleared, and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

The cause of the incident is being investigated.
