The Da Nang Fire and Rescue Police Department received an emergency call at 0:48 on Sunday, reporting people trapped inside an elevator at the General Hospital of Quang Nam.

Quang Nam Province was merged into Da Nang City in a national administrative reorganization on July 1.

It only took two minutes for a team of eight officers to be immediately deployed and arrive at the scene at 0:50.

The victims, including two patients and one hospital employee, were found inside the elevator and showed signs of fear and anxiety after being stuck in a confined space for some time.

With care and caution, the rescue team calmly reassured those trapped and used specialized tools to safely access and open the elevator under standard rescue procedures.

By 0:55, all three individuals had been safely assisted out of the elevator and were confirmed to be in a stable condition, with no injuries reported.
