Petrolimex tops Vietnam's daily revenue rankings in H1 2026

The state-owned Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) generated nearly VND1.3 trillion (US$49.4 million) in net revenue per day on average in the first half of 2026, surpassing Vingroup, Vietnam's largest private conglomerate, and other major Vietnamese companies.

As shown in their financial statements for the second quarter of this year, many listed non-financial companies recorded hundreds of trillions of Vietnamese dong (VND1 trillion is about $38 million) in net revenue during the six-month period.

Six companies posted net revenue of more than VND100 trillion ($3.8 billion) in the first half, namely Petrolimex, Vingroup, PV Oil, Vinhomes, Hoa Phat Group, and Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical (BSR).

Petrolimex ranked first with VND234.916 trillion (over $8.9 billion) in net revenue, up 62.7 percent year on year, or about VND1.298 trillion (nearly $49.4 million) per day on average.

Vingroup came second with VND222.288 trillion ($8.4 billion), up 72.5 percent, or about VND1.228 trillion ($49.3 million) per day.

PV Oil ranked third with VND134.867 trillion ($5.1 billion), up 85.5 percent, or about VND745 billion ($28.3 million) per day.

With VND116.565 trillion ($4.3 billion) in net revenue, up 242.7 percent year on year, or about VND644 billion ($24.5 million) per day, Vinhomes placed fourth.

In fifth place was Hoa Phat, with VND108.060 trillion ($4.1 billion) in net revenue, up 47 percent, or about VND597 billion ($22.7 million) per day.

BSR ranked sixth, with net revenue of VND104.636 trillion ($3.8 billion), up 52.4 percent, or about VND578 billion ($22 million) per day.

Beyond these six companies, several leading companies in retail, aviation, energy and consumer goods also recorded substantial net revenue.

Mobile World Investment Corporation, known as The Gioi Di Dong, topped this group with VND95.213 trillion ($3.6 billion) in net revenue, up 29.1 percent year on year, or about VND526 billion ($20 million) per day on average.

PV Gas and Vietnam Airlines followed, generating about $17 million and $15.8 million in daily revenue, respectively.

Among companies with net revenue above VND50 trillion ($1.9 billion), Masan Group and Vietjet Air generated about $10.9 million and $10.8 million per day, respectively.

Vinamilk, PV Power, and FPT Retail reported net revenue ranging from VND30 trillion ($1.1 billion) to VND35 trillion ($1.3 billion), equivalent to average daily revenue of about $6.8 million to $7.3 million.

Meanwhile, many companies also posted notable revenue growth in the first half of the year.

Vinhomes posted the fastest net revenue growth, surging 242.7 percent year on year, followed by PV Power (86 percent), PV Oil (85.5 percent), Vingroup (72.5 percent), Petrolimex (62.7 percent), BSR (52.4 percent), Hoa Phat (47 percent), and PV Gas (45.8 percent).

FPT was the only company to report a decline, with net revenue falling 19.6 percent.
