A video has surfaced on social media since Saturday of a black pickup truck driving along the beach near Nghinh Phong Tower Square in Tuy Hoa, where many tourists and locals were swimming and enjoying the beach.
The vehicle moved a short distance before becoming stuck in the sand and unable to move.

On the same day, another video and images of a blue pickup truck driving on the beach in Quy Nhon City. The truck also became stuck in the sand.
After the two clips were posted, many angry comments appeared, questioning why cars were allowed to drive on beaches crowded with local residents and tourists.
Some opinions called for authorities to strictly penalize the two pickup truck drivers for endangering others by driving onto the beach.

Vo Ky Lam, chairman of the People's Committee in Ward 7, Tuy Hoa City, said that the incident occurred on May 31 afternoon.
The pickup truck initially moved from the beach area near Nghinh Phong Tower Square in Ward 9 to the beach area near Phu Yen Square in Ward 7, where it became stuck in the sand and was struck by waves, requiring rescuers to tow it out.
The pickup truck blares its horn loudly while driving on the beach in Phu Yen Province, upsetting locals.
The ward has instructed police to identify the vehicle’s owner and clarify the incident.
The pickup truck was towed away but left deep tracks on the beach.
Local authorities will report the case to the Tuy Hoa City administration for further action, Lam said.

Bui Duy Ninh, chairman of the administration in Nguyen Van Cu Ward, Quy Nhon City, stated that the pickup truck drove onto the beach which is under the ward's management on May 31 morning.
It became stuck in the sand and had to be rescued. The local traffic police have taken over the case and are handling it.
