On August 6, the Embassy of Poland in Vietnam, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), and the Polish Chamber of Commerce (PCC) organized a Vietnam-Poland business networking event in Ho Chi Minh City under the 'Tasteful Europe - Tradition and Quality' program.
Tomasz Parzybut, CEO of SRW RP, said Polish companies are not only looking to expand food exports to Vietnam but are also actively sourcing high-quality Vietnamese agricultural products.
"We do business together, and we grow together," Parzybut said.
One company in the delegation has visited a Vietnamese shrimp processing facility and is planning to import Vietnamese shrimp to develop shrimp burgers for the Polish market, reflecting growing interest in Vietnam's seafood products
Other companies are also exploring imports of Vietnamese pepper and other agricultural products.
Parzybut noted that Vietnam is Poland's third-largest export market for pork, with Polish pork exports rising 34 percent in 2025, reflecting growing trade ties between the two countries.
Bui Thi Ninh, deputy director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Ho Chi Minh City branch (VCCI-HCM), said the two economies complement each other, with Poland serving as a major food processing hub in Europe and Vietnam as a dynamic consumer market and gateway to ASEAN.
Also, Polish companies have introduced a range of high-quality food products, including apples, pork and dairy products, to Vietnamese consumers over the years, she said.
Andrzej Arendarski, president of PCC, said bilateral trade still has significant room to grow, particularly in agricultural and food products, adding that Vietnamese products such as coffee deserve greater promotion in Poland.
