FPT Play, in partnership with the Premier League, hosted a free public event along Tran Nhan Tong pedestrian street, giving fans the chance to get up close with the championship trophy while watching football and taking part in related activities.
The Premier League Trophy Tour is traveling around the world ahead of the 2026-27 season. FPT Play, the league’s broadcast-rights holder in Vietnam, organized the event as a special treat for Vietnamese fans.
The Premier League trophy is made of sterling silver, topped with a 24-karat gold crown and mounted on a base made of malachite.
Weighing more than 25 kilograms, it was crafted in 1992 by British luxury jeweler Asprey of London, now known as Asprey & Garrard.

The trophy is now 34 years old and has had the names of league champions engraved on it more than 34 times.
The Premier League trophy has visited Vietnam several times, most recently in 2018, when it was brought to Vietnam with Manchester City, who had won the title that season.
Hundreds of fans began lining up at around 3:30 pm to wait for their turn to take photos with the trophy.
