According to the announcement, the mausoleum in Hanoi will be temporarily closed to the public, including international visitors, during this period to facilitate the maintenance work.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum will reopen on November 3.
The 2026 visitation schedule is as follows:
Visitors may pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. The mausoleum is closed to visitors on Mondays and Fridays.
During the warm season, from April 1 to October 31, visiting hours are from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the mausoleum remains open until 11:00 am.
During the cool season, from November 1 to March 31 of the following year, visiting hours are from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. On Saturdays, the mausoleum stays open until 11:30 am, while on Sundays and public holidays, visiting hours remain from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Visits will also be organized on May 19, September 2, and the first day of the Lunar New Year, even if these dates fall on a Monday or Friday.
The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command said the announcement is intended to help government agencies, organizations, socio-political groups, members of the public, and international visitors plan their visits in advance.
