3 Vietnamese students return lost wallet containing over $400 in cash
Three middle school students from Vinh Long Province, southern Vietnam have returned a wallet containing cash and important documents after finding it on a roadside while heading home from a fishing trip, local police said on Tuesday.

The trio, namely Nguyen Ngoc Dinh, Nguyen To Huy Tuong, and Cao Minh Tuan, are all ninth-grade students at a school in My Thuan Commune.
After spotting the lost wallet along Route 910B at around 4:45 pm on Monday, the students immediately brought it to a police station to help locate its owner.

Police later found that the wallet contained VND10,738,000 in cash (US$407), along with a lottery ticket, a driver’s license, vehicle registration papers, and two bank cards belonging to a man identified as Le Thanh Doan.
Officers quickly verified the information and contacted Doan to retrieve his belongings.
Upon receiving the wallet with all items intact, Doan expressed gratitude and appreciation to both the students and local police officers.

The commune’s police chief praised the students for their honesty and sense of responsibility, describing their actions as a positive example for the community.
