4 killed, 6 injured in 3-vehicle collision on expressway in north-central Vietnam

A representative of the Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security said that the crash happened at around 3:40 am on Phap Van - Cao Bo - Mai Son - National Highway 45 - Nghi Son Expressway.

The scene was located in Dong Tien Commune, Thanh Hoa Province.

At the time of the crash, the passenger bus was carrying 11 people.

Among the six injured people, four suffer minor injuries while two others are in serious condition.

All three vehicles sustained significant damage.

Following the accident, traffic police temporarily cordoned off the affected section of the expressway to conduct scene examination and investigation.

The incident is being investigated by the province’s police in coordination with officers from the Traffic Police Department, in accordance with regulations.
