The investigation began when officers inspected Revo Bar on Ly Tu Trong Street at 1:30 am on April 12.
They found 12 patrons testing positive for narcotics, 30 using 'pod chill' devices, and caught employee Hoang Dinh Toan selling drugs inside the venue.

Further probes revealed two major suppliers, Nguyen Tien Phat and Truong Tien Phuong Huy, who provided cannabis and other substances to the bar.
Police also traced connections to retail dealers and other entertainment venues across Vung Tau.

From one ketamine-positive suspect named Nguyen Kiet Tuong, investigators tracked additional networks led by Do Hoang Khanh and Pham Tich Nhan, as well as a group organized by Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hong that facilitated drug use in private circles.
In total, 50 individuals were charged with trafficking, possession, or organizing drug use.
Eleven others were fined and sent to compulsory rehabilitation for illegal drug use.
Authorities warned young people to avoid unsafe nightlife venues and stay clear of narcotics.

In related news, police in neighboring Tay Ninh Province last Friday said they had launched a 30-day campaign to support the southern province’s goal of becoming drug-free by 2030.
In just four days starting May 19, they screened 1,860 people and found 365 positive cases.
Of these, police placed 178 drug users under supervision, while preparing addiction assessments for 19 individuals and sending 34 others to compulsory rehabilitation facilities.
Police also dismantled 88 cases, arresting 150 suspects for offenses ranging from possession to trafficking and organizing drug use.

Authorities pledged to continue surprise inspections at bars, karaoke lounges, and hotels, while conducting mobile drug tests on suspicious individuals.
Officials urged the public to remain vigilant and report drug crimes via the provincial police department’s hotline 0888.57.04.04.
