The famtrip was jointly organized by the Union of Myanmar Travel Association, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Visit Indochina Co., Ltd., a Vietnamese travel operator.
The group visited several destinations and experienced tourism products in Da Nang and nearby areas, including Hoi An Ancient Town, Linh Ung Pagoda, Han Market and Sun World Ba Na Hills.
They also sampled local cuisine and experienced community-based tourism in the Bay Mau coconut forest.
The delegation then took part in a mini-workshop with Da Nang tourism businesses.
At the workshop, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center introduced the city's key attractions and distinctive tourism products and exchanged information with the Myanmar delegation on business connections, tourism promotion, and efforts to attract visitors from the Myanmar market.
Nguyen Son Thuy, director of Visit Indochina, said the participating companies were reputable, large-scale tour operators in Myanmar and had worked with his company to bring Myanmar visitors to Vietnam.

He said the delegation's visit to Da Nang's tourism routes and destinations would create opportunities to promote the city's tourism products and distinctive services to Myanmar travelers.
According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Myanmar has a population of more than 55 million and is an ASEAN country that shares many cultural and lifestyle similarities with Vietnam, which is also a member of the bloc.
The department considers Myanmar one of Da Nang's potential international tourism markets.
Mai Thi Thanh Hai, deputy director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, said the market has advantages including geographic proximity, visa-free entry for visitors and direct air links, Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) newspaper reported.
The route between Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, and Da Nang currently operates two flights per week and is expected to increase to four flights per week from September 2026, facilitating the exchange of visitors between the two sides.
Da Nang welcomed 32,084 Myanmar visitors in 2025, accounting for 0.42 percent of the city's total international arrivals.
In the first seven months of 2026, the number of Myanmar visitors reached 39,080, representing 0.64 percent of total foreign tourists in the city, according to the department.
