The event, running from November 11 to 15 at Quan Ngua Sports Complex, will feature designers from Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Spain, China, India, Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia, along with nine Vietnamese designers and two fashion schools.
"International participation is higher than in previous seasons," said Trang Le, founder of Vietnam International Fashion Week.
Among returning participants are Singapore's Frederick Lee, known for his haute couture designs, Indonesia's Priyo Oktavino, and Spain's Laura Fontan Pardo, co-founder of the Chula brand.

Malaysian label Behati and Philippine designer Francis Libiran are also scheduled to show new collections.
Newcomers include Bandid Lasavong from Laos, Ajay Kumar from India, and Natacha Van from Cambodia.
The event's theme this year, "Identity Creates Style," emphasizes individual expression in design.
Vietnamese designer Vu Viet Ha will open the week and Cao Minh Tien will close the final show.
