Three Vietnamese provinces have lent their natural beauties to be the setting of Skull Island in the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Kong: Skull Island’. Here are the videos capturing the ‘Kong’s homeland’ in real life

‘Kong: Skull Island’, a reboot of the King Kong franchise, hit theatres worldwide on March 10 with the major part of its being shot last year in the Vietnamese provinces of Quang Binh, Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh.

One week following the film’s global release, travel firms have reported rises in tourist arrivals to the three provinces.

Ha Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh appeared at the beginning scene in which the helicopter squadron goes through a storm and heads to the mystery island.
