Tourists to Ho Chi Minh City can see the southern metropolis from a very different angle for only VND15,000 (US$0.63) on a water bus trip on Saigon River.

The Saigon WaterBus project, which was put into operation in mid-2017, has become a popular service chosen by many locals and visitors to Ho Chi Minh City, especially on weekends.

The water bus offers less-heavy traffic and a quieter commuting experience to its passengers, while giving them a chance to admire the city from the river.
