Amazon Global Selling Vietnam announced the targets at its 2026 Seller Conference on Thursday, which brought together more than 1,000 sellers from Vietnam and the region.
The company outlined three strategic priorities for 2027, focusing on helping Vietnamese businesses build global brands through e-commerce exports.
It also announced a partnership with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to promote Vietnamese brands in international markets.
Under its 2027 plan, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam aims to bring 30 Vietnamese national brands onto Amazon and help 300 manufacturers in the furniture, food and apparel sectors begin selling on the platform.
It also seeks to have more than 300 sellers achieve annual sales of over VND10 billion each.
“We have witnessed strong growth in Vietnam’s key manufacturing sectors on Amazon,” said Larry Hu, head of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia.
“This demonstrates that more Vietnamese businesses are moving beyond contract manufacturing and beginning to build their own brands.”
At the conference, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency launched a high-level cooperation program titled ‘From National Brands to Global Brands.’
The initiative is designed to help established Vietnamese brands gain international recognition through e-commerce exports.
In 2027, the program aims to equip 30 businesses whose products have received Vietnam National Brand certification with the knowledge and skills needed to begin exporting through Amazon.
The participating companies will be selected by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and Amazon Global Selling Vietnam.
Hoang Minh Chien, deputy head of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, said participating businesses would receive training and in-depth support tailored to their development stages and capabilities.
The assistance will cover the process from brand registration to making products available to international customers, he said.
