The awards ceremony will be broadcast live across social media platforms and television networks in more than 10 Asian countries, organizers said at the launch event in Ho Chi Minh City.
Founded in 1996, the Asian Television Awards honors achievements across 66 categories spanning news, documentaries, children's programming, animation, drama, entertainment, and digital content.
It receives more than 1,000 entries annually judged by about 70 television professionals from 10 Asian countries.
The awards have previously recognized broadcasters, streaming platforms, and producers from countries including South Korea, Japan, Singapore, China, and Thailand, while global platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Asia have also received nominations and awards.

Organizers said the partnership in Vietnam would also expand into music and livestreaming through the Jupiter Music Awards (JMA), a digital-focused awards platform targeting younger audiences and content creators.
Under the plan, four Vietnamese artists or creators will be selected to compete in the 'New Talent' category at the 2026 Jupiter Music Awards, while music products released between July 1 and July 15 this year will qualify for nomination and voting.
According to figures released by organizers, the 2025 Jupiter Music Awards drew more than 90 million votes globally, with around 550 artists from nearly 100 countries and territories participating, while Vietnam accounted for about 10.8 percent of international voting outside China.
Vietnam hosted the 28th Asian Television Awards in Ho Chi Minh City in January 2024, the first time the ceremony had been staged live in the country after years rotating among Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
