Authorities investigate video of motorized tricycle carrying car in Ho Chi Minh City

On Friday, the video went viral on social media capturing a motorized tricycle carrying an old car through a narrow street, sparking frustration among commuters and raising concerns about potential accidents.

According to initial findings, the incident occurred at around 3:30 pm on Thursday on Thanh Xuan 52 Street, Thoi An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the time, many road users were shocked to see a man driving a three-wheeled vehicle with a car loaded on the back, navigating through an alley.

Due to the car's length, it blocked the pathway, preventing other vehicles from passing and causing localized congestion.

The video shows the car on the tricycle occupying nearly the entire width of the road, forcing other vehicles to squeeze through with difficulty.

Commuters expressed frustration, noting that the situation not only caused traffic jams but also posed a serious safety risk.

“The tricycle carrying the car in a narrow alley caused a major traffic jam," said D., the individual who recorded the video.

"One person’s actions affected the entire street.

“I hope the traffic police handle this properly."
