A Belavia Belarusian Airlines flight, carrying 272 passengers aboard an Airbus A330-200, was welcomed at Cam Ranh International Airport with a traditional water cannon salute.
Passengers were greeted with flowers, souvenirs, and congratulations from local organizers, including the Khanh Hoa Center for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion.
The Minsk-Nha Trang route was launched following agreements reached during a high-level meeting between Vietnamese and Belarusian leaders in May 2025.
Officials said the new route is expected to strengthen economic and cultural cooperation while boosting tourism between the two countries.

Belarusian visitor numbers to Khanh Hoa, home to the famed beach destination of Nha Trang in south-central Vietnam, have been rising sharply.
In 2024, the coastal province welcomed more than 3,200 Belarusian tourists.
That figure rose to nearly 8,900 in 2025, representing a growth rate of 173 percent.
In the first two months of 2026, arrivals already exceeded 2,100.
In mid-October last year, Belavia also launched its first direct flight from the Belarusian capital of Minsk to Phu Quoc, an island destination administered by An Giang Province, southern Vietnam.
