-- Police in Da Nang City, central Vietnam on Tuesday said they had dismantled a nationwide cryptocurrency pyramid scheme and arrested suspects accused of defrauding investors of more than 1,880 bitcoin, 37,000 ether, and nearly 2.7 million USDT, assets authorities said were worth about VND2 trillion (US$75.9 million).

-- Police in Vietnam’s Lam Dong Province are investigating the collapse of a canteen wall at a driver training and testing center, which killed a 49-year-old trainee and injured several others as they rested while waiting for a driving test on Tuesday.

-- Authorities in Lam Dong Province said on Tuesday it would reclaim more than 1,428 hectares previously allocated to Saigon Dai Ninh Tourist Investment JSC for a commercial, tourism and eco-resort urban project, citing delays in putting the land to use.

-- C.P. Vietnam Corp on Tuesday exported its first shipment of processed chicken meat to Singapore from its CPV Food Binh Phuoc plant, marking its entry into one of the world’s most stringent food safety markets.

SEA Games

-- Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Oanh won the women’s 3,000 meters steeplechase in 10:13.74 on Tuesday to claim her third gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and her 15th career SEA Games athletics title, placing her among the most decorated track and field athletes in the event’s history.
