-- Hanoi will introduce support and incentive policies encouraging young people to marry earlier and have children sooner, as part of the city’s population and development strategy for 2026, according to the municipal administration’s plan signed on Monday.
-- Northern Vietnam will enjoy clear and pleasant daytime weather on Tuesday, but a cold air mass may move in from the evening, bringing rain and colder conditions. Parts of central Vietnam face increasing showers and thunderstorms, while southern Vietnam and other regions will remain sunny during the day, according to the national weather center.
-- Two men armed with what appeared to be handguns stormed a Vietcombank branch in Gia Lai Province and made off with about VND1.8 billion (US$68,500) in cash on Monday afternoon, local police said, in a daring daytime robbery that left no injuries.
