-- Vietnam and Palestine on Friday held a ceremony in Hanoi to posthumously award the Grand Collar Medal of the State of Palestine to General Vo Nguyen Giap, recognizing his enduring contributions to national liberation movements and his steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.

-- Starting from July 1, female employees who give birth to a second child will be entitled to seven months of maternity leave, one month longer than the current entitlement, while male employees whose wives give birth to a second child will be granted 10 working days of paternity leave.

-- Investigators in Dong Nai City, southern Vietnam have dismantled an illegal invoice-trading ring involving transactions worth more than VND20 trillion (US$762 million) in total.
