-- A video showing a car speeding and ramming a truck into a canal has gone viral on social media in Vietnam. The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security said the accident occurred in Hai Phong City, northern Vietnam on Friday and the driver of the car tested positive for drugs.

-- A heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms at around 3:30 pm on Saturday caused many trees in Cao Lanh Ward, Dong Thap Province, southern Vietnam to fall, while local authorities were mobilizing maximum resources to clear the debris and reopen several affected roads, a local official said the same day.

-- Authorities in Viet Yen Ward, Bac Ninh Province, northern Vietnam have confirmed that a serious murder case occurred in the locality on Saturday, leaving four people dead.
