-- Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD may soon introduce its Flash Charging ultra-fast charging system in Vietnam, its local chief executive Vo Minh Luc said in a Facebook post, though the company has not yet made an official announcement. According to the firm, under suitable conditions, the technology can charge a battery from 10 percent to 97 percent in about nine minutes.
-- The price of Vietnam’s SJC gold bars rose to VND186.1 million ($7,094) per tael on Tuesday, up VND2 million ($76) from the previous day’s close.
