-- The Royal Thai Navy vessel HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan arrived at Nha Rong Port in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, beginning a visit that will last through May 23.

-- A 19-month-old girl in Quang Ngai Province, central Vietnam was attacked by two pet dogs belonging to her family, suffering multiple deep wounds to her head and face. She was rushed to Quang Ngai Hospital for Women and Children for emergency treatment and surgery on Sunday.

-- The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tay Ninh Province in southern Vietnam on Monday afternoon submitted a report to the provincial People’s Committee on the handling of 10 ostriches found dead or injured of unknown origin.
